Golden Hour operates on a model similar to human teleradiology services, where the consultation cost is a pass-through expense borne by the pet owner, with no additional financial burden on the clinic or hospital. Our experience has shown that pet owners appreciate the assurance of providing their pets with top-notch care. The nominal interpretation fees constitute a minor component of the total visit cost for their cherished pets.

Since Golden Hour focuses on STAT critical telemedicine consultations, we typically are used as a supplemental service to your regular service. When you need rapid, accurate, and reliable consultations within the “Golden Hour,” we are your go to service provider.

Despite the expertise of experienced veterinarians reading x-rays, errors in omission or misdiagnosis can occur. With our focus on STAT service, you can receive specialty consultations within the “Golden Hour,” often in 20 minutes or less. 

Our proprietary reporting system is tailored specifically for telemedicine. Upon receiving an examination request, the case is promptly sent to a Golden Hour specialist. The specialist assesses the case and finalizes the report. Our system dispatches the report via email to the requesting veterinarian, clinic, or hospital. The reports are easily accessible and retrievable from any internet-connected computer and can be effortlessly integrated into any practice management system for your convenience.

No.  There is never a cost to set up an account with Golden Hour.  We also have no contracts for radiology or cardiology services.  Additionally, we have no minimum utilization requirements.
